Build Your Kingdom HERE!!!!

Hebrews 9:14 says... How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Christ came to bring repentance. As the result of repentance, He gives forgiveness and remission of sin. The blood of Jesus Christ is what saves us. It doesn’t matter that we belong to a church because it is the blood of Jesus Christ that brings forgiveness, not church membership.  That's what the song Build Your Kingdom Here is about. REVIVAL. Wherever you are... It is clear in the Bible that God's ongoing and ever-increasing reign is fundamentally important. Scripture teaches that God's reign is "already" and "not yet," which creates a tension that is difficult for us to balance and comprehend. However, there is a real need to sing about God's present reign, and "Build Your Kingdom Here" is perhaps the best song

Some goals you SHOULDN'T set...

Yep, you heard me right! You see, I was once speaking  at my local church service on a fine Sunday morning to the congregation; sharing my testimony and journey to knowing and accepting Christ as my personal saviour. In the corner of my eye, I noticed a meek little boy sitting alone at the very end of the pew -  his eyes widening as I continued to tell my story. He seemed to be around 12 years old and at that moment I couldn't be happier and more content. Deeply touched by this experience, at the end of the church service I decided to approach this little boy for a conversation. But before I commenced to approach him, he hastily ran towards me and invited me to his home for dinner with the rest of his family. This little boy was called Zechariah and he had come to know Jesus several years ago, when a friend mentioned Jesus to him at school. From that day onwards, the boy felt as if his whole life had changed and soon after had accepted Christ as his personal saviour! But after I a

I know why YOU are PROCRASTINATING...

Most of us fail. I know. Not necessarily because we are not talented, determined or passionate but because we get distracted and 'PROCRASTINATE'. But WHY? Why do we, why do YOU PROCRASTINATE?  Because you don't have a goal. You don't have a clearly defined goal that challenges you to push HARDER, achieve BIGGER and BETTER. And so as a result, you don't run in the direction you should. You fail, aimlessly. For Habakkuk 2:2 reads "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it". Among my regular rounds of errands on the fine Monday Morning of July 2nd 2010, I still remember Sam Horn. I still remember the motivational author and speaker's words on BBC 1's live radio podcast that day. And that was this - "It's hard to stay on purpose, if we don't know what our purpose is" Recently, I have also been reading a book; a new release by my favorite author, Phil Cooke. Ever heard of One Big Thing? Yep, that's

What Really Happened In 2019...

Hey everyone! So I don't think I properly introduced myself so I'm going to do that right now. My name is Joanna, I am 16 years old and I currently live in London. Around 3 months ago, I started this blog, I created, ran and managed 3 websites and I also started my very own podcast all because of my faith and love for my Lord Jesus Christ. Many of you are probably wondering why I am doing all this. And this is why. I believe that as a Christian who knows Jesus, it is our duty to tell others about Jesus and save more souls through his heavenly name. However my faith and love for my Heavenly Father did not become this strong overnight and I have endured many hardships, especially in the year of 2019. As we celebrate 100 blog views and 100 more people knowing and hearing about Jesus, I am going to tell you my story and how Jesus saved me. Most importantly however, I am going to talk to you all about how he can save you too. 2019 wasn’t an easy year for me and was by far one of m

There are MORE than 10, 000 REASONS....

A gardener will always take good care of his/her garden. He or she will mow their lawn when the time comes, take care of the grass and do what they need to keep the yard looking nice.  However, when it comes to flowerbeds some gardeners don't take care of them at all because these beds of bushes and pretty plants take an enormous amount of effort to keep looking nice. They know that flowerbeds do not automatically look nice though. Weeds creep in, mulch dries out, and plants die. They need to be tended to – worked over – cultivated. Our souls are the same way. The hardships of life can creep in, and we can neglect the care of our hearts. Just like unattended gardens, our souls can become overgrown and out of sorts. The song 10, 000 reasons is the call to cultivate our hearts, to bring praise to God and lift his name up high. So lets take the time to cultivate our souls and call our hearts to worship, by singing this song.
